EDG offers add-on marketing programs to increase your visibility and help your business stand out. You may find one or more to be perfect vehicles to help reach your overall marketing goals. You can enroll in these programs at any time, regardless of the terms of your advertising contract. Pricing can vary according to what's included in your EDG advertising package. Please ask your sales rep or contact us for more information and let us work out a deal for you.
Site Sponsorships
You can appear on the EDG homepage as a site sponsor which includes a large sidebar ad near the top of the page. It's a prime location for visibility. Other areas of the site may be sponsored also. Check with us if you are interested.
Special Promotions and Coupons
Special Promotions and Coupons is a listing program and an email opt-in program for registered members on EDG. With this add-on you can have your promotion or coupon listed EDG's Coupons and Specials page. It enables businesses to send promotional messages and coupons by email through EDG to users who have not opted out of this option in their account settings. This is a low cost but powerful add-on that puts your message directly into potential customers' email inboxes.

Contests
EDG business sponsored contests encourage site participation and attract visitors to your EDG business Listing. Businesses participate by randomly selecting winners and supplying the prizes. Visitors enter contests by entering their email addresses which are given to the participating business in order to ramdomly select and contact winners. Contests are announced here and in other high traffic areas on EDG. By providing a prize, your business and the product you provide get mentioned with a link to your business directory Listing.
Email Newsletters
Minus those who opt out, EDG sends monthly email newsletters to its complete list of registered members and businesses. You can advertise in the newsletters for a fee. In addition you can submit ideas, anecdotes or other material EDG's editors may select to use. There's no charge for this. Please submit articles of 500 words or less. Topics should have wide interest for residents of El Dorado County, can be informational, newsworthy, humorous, or inspiring. Your name, business name and a link to your EDG listing will be included with each article chosen for publication.
