Located in the old mining camp of Coloma, the Gold Discovery Museum offers information, exhibits, and artifacts relating to the gold discovery and the California Gold Rush. A video presentation is also available, as well as park rangers to answer any questions. The museum grounds contain numerous mining exhibits comprised of the different kinds of equipment used by the miners in their search for gold.
